Buying Guide

Customer Registration

To participate in bidding on items, you need to be logged in. Start by logging in or creating a customer if you don't already have one. Once logged in, you can place bids on ongoing auctions. In "My Account," you can review your bids, purchases, arrange transportation, view your sales, and customize your personal settings.

Auctions start when items are published and appear in the catalog until closing. You can then view the items under Completed Auctions.

Bidding

For each item, a starting price is specified, which is our estimate of the item's value and serves as a guideline for buyers. The auction price can end both above and below this starting price.

Click on the item you want to bid on. The minimum bid you can place is 100 SEK. All bids you place are Maximum Bids. Each time another buyer bids on the same item, your bid automatically increases by the smallest possible amount, up to your maximum bid.

Examples:

Example 1: The current bid is 1000 SEK. You set a maximum bid of 2000 SEK. In this case, the bidding increases to 1100 SEK, which becomes your bid if no one else bids. Even if your maximum bid is 2000 SEK, the auction ends in your favor for 1100 SEK.

Example 2: The current bid is 1000 SEK, which is below the seller's reserve price of 1500 SEK (not visible). You place a maximum bid of 3000 SEK, which raises the bid to the reserve price, 1500 SEK. You are in the bidding up to 3000 SEK if necessary.

Bid Increments:

0 - 999 SEK, increase by 50 SEK

1,000 - 4,999 SEK, increase by 100 SEK

5,000 - 9,999 SEK, increase by 200 SEK

10,000 - 19,999 SEK, increase by 300 SEK

20,000 and above, increase by 500 SEK

The auction runs until the date and time specified for each specific auction. If you have the leading bid and it says "reserve price reached," your bid is leading. If someone bids within the last two minutes, the auction automatically extends by another two minutes.

At Rekomo Auctions, you pay a fixed hammer fee of 125 SEK (including VAT) for each individual item. For items subject to statutory resale rights, there is a fee of 5% for items with a final price over 2200 SEK. These items are marked with resale rights information in the catalog.
